Markham & Fitz Chocolate Chip Cookies

Crunchy on the edges, soft in the middle. We call these "Brown Sugar Bourbon Chocolate Chip Cookies," which over the past 8 years has become short-hand "Brown Sugar Bourbon" to our local customers. It's worth noting, however, that they are indeed Chocolate Chip cookies, made with our 70% single-origin dark chocolate: which we make from the beans themselves in house.

70% dark chocolate in a cookie leans a little darker, a little less sweet, just the way we like it. When we first started making these cookies, one customer told us, "I drive 20 miles for these cookies." We originally developed this recipe to create the best chocolate chip cookie we could eat. While we're chocolate makers, and love chocolate, there is just the right amount of balance between dough and chocolate chunks. The chocolate chunks are chopped by hand from chocolate slabs in house. Not every piece is uniform, but we aim to keep them the size of large chocolate chips -- not enough to overwhelm the palette in any single bite. The dough is golden

3. Upon Receiving your cookies, enjoy immediately or store in the freezer. Recommend warming at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal flavor. If room temperature, warm at 325 degrees for 1-2 minutes. If from freezer, warm for 5-7 minutes.
